Main Dashboard

The Main Dashboard will be the first page you arrive at when you log in. This Dashboard will give you an overview of the latest processes as an Author, Reviewer and Reader. You can also access your profile, add affiliations, edit keywords for reading and reviewing, and view your SciFree Process CV.

This guide provides an overview of the Main Dashboard and the specific Dashboards.

Main Dashboard Overview

Setting up Dashboard

When you first set up an account you will need to select which role you will have, this in turn sets up your roles and dashboards. You can add further roles and dashboards after you have set up your account via the Main Dashboard.

1. To do this locate the role you would like to add and click on the + button.
   
2. Then click on Set up reviewer role
   

My Profile

My Profile is your way to: quickly edit your reviewing and reading keywords, edit your affiliations, and to view all your authoring and reviewing. You can also change your profile picture, which is only visible to you. For further information on the My Profile please view this guide

Reviewer Dashboard View

The Reviewer Dashboard View will show you the list of manuscripts that are currently assigned to you as a reviewer. Click on Go to Reviewer Dashboard to edit your Reviewer settings or to view all your reviews - New to review, Under your review, Awaiting author revisions and finished reviews.

Author Dashboard View

On the Author Dashboard View you will see a list of manuscripts you have composed as well as manuscripts composed by other researchers where you have been added as an additional author.

If you have not created a manuscript yet you will see a blank area with the message No Manuscripts Found. You can then begin the process of composing by clicking New Manuscript.  For further information on the Author Dashboard please view this guide

Reader Dashboard View (in Beta)

This dashboard is currently in the beta version. 

The Reader Dashboard View enables you to receive a list of suggested open access articles for reading using keywords. The suggested articles are ones that have been indexed by DOAJ. For a full list of suggestions click on Go to Reader dashboard.
