Adding Affiliations and Funders to Manuscript

This guide provides information on how to add Affiliations and Funders to Manuscripts.

Note: To proceed in the SciFree process you must have an affiliation and a funder.

Step-by-Step

Add affiliations

1. To add affiliations you can select from your current list of affliation. Click on the dropdown then select the affiliation you would like to add and click addThis will then appear in your list of affiliations. If you have multiple to add you can add them in the same way by using the dropdown, selecting the affiliation and clicking Add
   

2. You can also add affiliations by Searching for More. Click Search for More
   
3. Then enter the Institution name and click Search
   
   
4. Once you have located your institution, select the tickbox and then click Ok
   
   
   

Remove affiliation

1. To remove an affiliation from the manuscript click the bin icon on the row of the affiliation

Add funder

1. Search for the funder name in the search box, then click the + symbol to the right of the funder you want to add.
   
2. This funder will then appear in your list. You can then proceed to add more funders if you wish in the same way
   

If your funder does not appear in the list please send us a message at [e-mail] and we will add it right away.

Remove funder

1. If you wish to remove a funder from the manuscript click the Bin icon on the row of the affiliation
